Playing the remo djembe is my favorite pass time for getting together with other drummers or for joining in at any social gathering..I actually am known to haul in several drums when invited to dinner or an informal gathering in our neighborhood. It is so fun to start up a group, no experience necessary. But, the remo djembe is mine. It allows me to move about, to encourage others, to bring in the shy ones or just help everyone have a good time and get involved. Also, the remo djembe is absolutely great for kids, too. They love to stand by it, the little ones, and for the others to carry it and dance WHILE playing is fabulous. For our family, drumming is for socializing.
