The internet and new techynology has changed our lives for the better in recent years, but it can also cause problems. These days we wonder how safe our private information is in a world where government and commercial companies remotely access so much info instantly. In the past people believed that information which you gave out to one agency but didnt want others to know would have stayed private, technologically it wasnt possible to access much info remotely anyway. People supposed to have it would have been small in number, so others wouldnt know our business. Not today. Some info databases are accessible online, and people can use such sites for research. For a small fee some websites give access to these directories, giving people access to info about anyone, from cell phone reverse lookup directories to background checks. Even criminal records can be viewed.
