When I was a child, I would rummage through the contents of my stocking on Christmas day to find candy and small toys. Now that I am a mother, I am choosing to do what so many other parents do. Rather than filling my daughters’ stockings with candy and small toys that will eventually end up in the trash, I am choosing software titles. There are so many software titles to choose from these days. Many are educational. The best part is that the kids don’t even realize that they are learning. They think they are simply having fun. Many of the educational applications come in the form of a game, which the children will enjoy playing. These offer the best of both worlds… fun for the kids and peace of mind for the parent.
