America is one of the fattest, if not the fattest, nation in the world. Americans have more health problems related to obesity like type-II diabetes, high cholesterol, and high blood pressure, than anywhere else in the world. Though a significant portion of our obesity problem is due to an overall lack of exercise in the country, the other half of the equation is that Americans do not eat healthily. We eat out and eat fast food more than anywhere else in the world, which is evident when you take a drive down in any urban or suburban area. You’ll pass a scrolling assortment of fast food joints, Wendy’s, Mc Donald’s, Burger King, Pizza Hut, Mc Donald’s, KFC! all interspersed with regular sit-down restaurants. People have changed their kitchen designs to accomodate such kitchen appliances to cook the same kind of food which are available in these outlets.
