Christmas is such a fun time of year but with the fun comes lots to do. To alleviate some of the stress and to make it more fun, get your kids involved. There are lots of things on your to do list that your kids can help out with, such as:

1. Making cookies. Either get them to help you or let them select a recipe and make a few batches of cookies on their own. They’ll have fun doing it and feel good when their cookies are served to friends and family.
2. Gift wrapping. Wrapping presents always takes a lot longer than you anticipate. Give your kids a stack of gifts to wrap or get an assembly line going where someone wraps and someone puts on the ribbon.
3. Creating and sending your Christmas ecards. Together you can come up with a nice family message and then your kids can take care of finding a fun ecard, addressing it and sending it. Kids are so much better with computers and the Internet anyway. They’ll probably get it done in half the time you would.
4. Gift ideas. Kids are really creative so get them in on the brainstorming when you are coming up with your list of Christmas presents to buy.

These are just a few things your kids can help with. Hopefully by getting them involved you’ll have even more fun and less stress this holiday season. Enjoy!
