Parents have most control of a child and it’s dental health before preschool years. As years pass, children began to explore the world by attending school, eating meals alone and on their own and they become away from home for long hours and thus becomes very hard for parents to prevent common dental problems like tooth decay, gingivitis and bad breath or halitosis. As children grow, parents are having unfortunate time to check up on their children’s dental health as their children are taking control of themselves in brushing their own teeth and do things for themselves. Before children are left for school, parents should educate themselves and kids about the importance of proper oral hygiene like proper brushing and flossing to help them take care of their dental health even away from home.
