Don’t forget your camping first aid kits when you go camping this year. In fact, it should be a high priority on your list of supplies. Camping first aid kits are slightly different from regular first aid kits. They are specially designed to provide the first aid supplies for injuries that occur outside. They include such things as a knife and suction cups for treating snakebite, or thermal blankets for treating cold or frostbite. Of course, they also include your regular first aid items, like bandages and antiseptic creams and so forth. Other items that should be included in a camping first aid kit include water purification tablets, emergency matches - and you might even consider a portable gps unit if you enjoy wilderness adventures. And don’t forget the pain relievers, such as aspiring, Tylenol, etc. You might also take along some lip balm and sunscreen.
