Whether it is a pistol, a rifle or a shotgun; safety rules always apply. One way to keep things in the safety zone is to always check your gun whether or not it is loaded. Don’t think that just because somebody tells you it is unloaded; you can go ahead and take their word for it. Better safe than sorry around guns, or in this case, injured or dead.
